A person must be saved prior to taking Communion.
You don’t have to be a member of a church to receive Communion, but you do have to be born again. If you have not prayed a prayer of salvation, receiving Jesus as your Lord, do so first. Please visit www.miraclecity.com/salvation
We can enter into the very presence of God!
- Hebrews 10:19-22 TLB … And so, dear brothers, now we may walk right into the very Holy of Holies, where God is, because of the blood of Jesus. This is the fresh, new, life-giving way that Christ has opened up for us by tearing the curtain - His human body - to let us into the holy presence of God.
- And since this great High Priest of ours rules over God's household, let us go right in to God himself, with true hearts fully trusting him to receive us because we have been sprinkled with Christ's blood to make us clean and because our bodies have been washed with pure water.
Prior to Communion, the Word of God says in 1 Corinthians 11:28 …
- Let a man [thoroughly] examine himself, and [only when he has done] so should he eat of the bread and drink of the cup. ... Let’s do that right now.
Let’s judge and examine ourselves in the light of God’s Word ...
Father God, in the Name of Jesus, right now we examine our own hearts; we judge ourselves according to the authority of Your Word. In any areas where we have missed the mark … we take Jesus as our Advocate and High Priest. We repent and ask forgiveness in Jesus Name (1 John 1:9).
We receive our cleansing … therefore we do not eat of the bread nor drink of the cup unworthily, and we rightly discern the Lord’s body.
We receive communion now as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. We are free from ALL the works of Satan … spirit, soul, body, and financially!
Make the following declaration of faith in the finished work of the Cross ...
Father, in the Name of Jesus, as we receive Communion, we recognize it as a holy time set apart to honor and remember our precious Jesus. We also recognize that we have a covenant with You that was sealed by the shed blood of Jesus at Calvary.
As we partake of the Lord’s Supper, we do so as the children of Israel did. We partake in faith … fully accepting, expecting and ready to receive our deliverance … ready to receive strength, health, wholeness, and even riches. Ready to receive everything Jesus’ sacrifice provided for us!
Jesus’ body was broken for us … His blood was shed in our behalf.
We acknowledge and receive that Jesus bore sin, poverty, sickness, disease, pain, fear, and every part of the curse for us! Through His substitutionary sacrifice, we have complete redemption … TOTAL deliverance from all the works of Satan.
1 Corinthians 11:23-24 NKJV
The Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
Right now, if you need healing in your body, just hold the communion bread up before the Lord, as you pray … simply receive your healing by faith.
Make this declaration ...
Jesus, we honor You. We honor Your precious body that was broken so ours could be made whole. We judge sickness, disease, and fear as being from Satan, and we reject them! We refuse them! Instead, we receive everything You provided for us Lord! We receive all the victory of the Cross. We receive healing and wholeness into our bodies right now! We receive peace, and deliverance right now! We receive Your resurrection power into our bodies and into our lives, in Jesus Name!
Now partake of the Bread
1 Corinthians 11:25 AMP, NKJV
In the same manner Jesus also took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant (sealed, ratified and established) in My blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”
Make this declaration ...
Lord Jesus, we honor Your precious Blood … shed for our redemption, salvation and forgiveness of sins. We receive the finished work of Calvary … our New Covenant sealed in Your Blood Jesus. We receive our forgiveness. We receive heaven on earth. We receive the Life and the power of the Blood of Jesus, into our bodies, and into our lives … right now, in Jesus Name!
Now partake of the Cup
Praise the Lord
Take some time to praise the Lord for His goodness and mercy. Praise Him for the victory you just received, spirit, soul, and body … and your complete deliverance from all the curse, and all the works of Satan!
Let’s leave this Communion table rejoicing and expecting the supernatural results of this Communion Meal ... supernatural strength, supernatural health, supernatural riches, and supernatural wealth.
Let’s leave KNOWING that we can daily receive communion and therefore, we can DAILY experience this connecting point to the power of Jesus … this union with the presence of God! We are truly a blessed people!
This is a great time to share testimonies of what the Lord has done! Give Him glory!
