Your Inheritance

Let’s get our focus completely off the things going on around us today, and instead point our antennas towards our inheritance. Our place of prosperity, provision and supernatural living! Our place of protection, health, peace, and wealth!

This is so exciting! Let’s dig in! 😊

There are Christians today who are living the abundant life. They're healthy and happy, living in gorgeous homes, driving luxury cars, taking dream vacations and enjoying close family relationships.

Their lives are like billboards that display God's goodness, and His faithfulness to prosper His people. Yet, while some Christians have tapped into the abundant life, others are still struggling, living from paycheck to paycheck. But God wants to prove His goodness to ALL of His children!

You may say, “I don't need very much. I'm happy with the little bit I have.” But the Word clearly tells us that there should be a distinction between God’s children and those who don't know Him.

  • Isaiah 61:9 GNB, AMP … They will be famous among the nations. All who see them [in their prosperity] will recognize and acknowledge that they are the people whom the Lord has blessed.

A prosperous lifestyle is attractive. God wants the world to see that His children are empowered to prosper. The word “empower” means "to license." In other words, God has given us a license to succeed.

The unsaved world knows that children of royalty live grand lifestyles and are exposed to the best life has to offer. Likewise, since Jesus is the King of kings, and we are joint heirs with Him, we are members of God's royal family, therefore we are entitled to live a blessed and prosperous life.

  • Galatians 3:29 TLB … Now that we are Christ’s we are the true descendants of Abraham, and all of God’s promises to him belong to us.

How we live on the earth today, however, is limited to …

  • our knowledge of what belongs to us, and …
  • our willingness to receive it.

In brief …

Paul saw - back in the day - that the Church needed a better understanding of their position in Christ, and their rights and privileges, so they could obtain natural wealth. We too need to understand our inheritance as a child of God.

We also need to understand the authority our position in Christ carries. And, we need to act on that authority by opening our mouth and releasing our faith. When we release the Word of God in faith, this earthly system has to obey us.

How do we get to this place?

Take the time to get in the Word and meditate on what belongs to us. The more we renew our mind to God's promises, the less we will hinder our prosperity.

And finally …

Get a revelation of this … God is our Father! And He’s a good, good Father - the best! Get to know Him.  Talk to Him, but also listen. We can find scriptures about His love and His promises to us, but we can’t leave out the relationship part.

Now is the time for the Church to rise up strong. Amazing days await us as we press into our prosperous place of joy, health, strength, wealthpeace, provision, and protection. A wonderful inheritance of supernatural living, because we are children of Almighty God!

Here’s a few scriptures to get you even more excited! 😊

Isaiah 61:9 GNB, AMP … They [God’s children] will be famous among the nations. All who see them [in their prosperity] will recognize and acknowledge that they are the people whom the Lord has blessed.

Galatians 3:29 TLB … Now that we are Christ’s we are the true descendants of Abraham, and all of God’s promises to him belong to us.

Psalms 115:14 AMP … The Lord will give you increase more and more, you and your children.

Ephesians 1:3 NKJV … Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.

Romans 8:15-17 TLB … And so we should not be like cringing, fearful slaves, but we should behave like God’s very own children, adopted into the bosom of His family, and calling to Him, “Abba, Father.” For His Holy Spirit speaks to us deep in our hearts and tells us that we really are God’s children. And since we are His children, we will share His treasures—for all God gives to his Son Jesus is now ours too.

1 Peter 2:9-10 TLB … You have been chosen by God himself—you are priests of the King, you are holy and pure, you are God’s very own—all this so that you may show to others how God called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were less than nothing; now you are God’s own. Once you knew very little of God’s kindness; now your very lives have been changed by it.
